Incredible Minerals Today

EP Minerals has been named a finalist for the Leader in Sustainability Award by the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) in EDAWN’s annual Existing Industry Awards. EDAWN holds the annual awards to honor companies that have brought jobs to Northern Nevada and also have demonstrated excellence in other key areas.

Earlier this month, EP Minerals opened a new warehouse in Groß-Rohrheim, Germany to better serve our customers. The new 85,000 square foot warehouse, is centrally located to our European customers, providing logistical efficiencies, modern bulking equipment, a “safety stock" of products, and shows EP Minerals' commitment to sustainability.

It’s not every day that you go to work and hear “we’re getting a guzzler!” It certainly sounded interesting, so I had to learn more. As I found out, it’s a special watering trough for the desert bighorn sheep.

As president of a global company, it’s important for me to travel frequently –not only to visit industrial minerals customers and distributors, but also to learn more firsthand about what’s going on – all over the world.
