Today is National Ag Day, a day where we all thank our our farmers, for their contributions to our nation. They diligently work to provide food and fiber for the U.S. and countries around the world every day.
Awhile back, some of our customers asked if we could develop a product out of our diatomaceous earth or clay that they could blend with other products to help improve crop production. They wanted a product that would allow them to add liquid chemicals to their dry fertilizer as well as improve flow-ability. Also, they needed to decrease clumping in products they were currently using. They wanted a carrier for new pesticide formulations they were developing.
Ta da! After lots of product testing, we came up with a perfect agricultural blending agent and fertilizer carrier - EP Minerals' AgReady™. AgReady is a granular diatomaceous earth (DE) or clay drying agent and carrier, designed specifically for the agricultural industry - for crop production . Easy to use with dry or liquid agriculture blends, AgReady improves the efficiency of applying nutrients and pesticides to crops. Its low density makes it “ready” to use in blends today.
