Wow! Opening day is this month! It's crazy to have it in March this year! We love baseball! Go Dodgers! And Giants, and Indians, Tigers, Angels and our hometown Reno Aces. I think I’ve covered all the favorite teams here in our office. Our inside sales team is such big fans of the Dodgers that they even painted one of their walls Dodger blue! I'm bringing in a can of Giants orange this weekend to do my office!

Will we really have six more weeks of winter? It's been a pretty crazy year for weather everywhere, so you just don't know. What do you think Phil is hoping for? Alfalfa and berries are his favorite foods. And we've heard that he's looking for more diatomaceous earth insecticide(DE) to help control fleas. Lots of nasty bugs in those burrows. In many ways, Super Bowl Sunday has become a truly American holiday. And like with most holidays, food and drinks both play an important role in our national celebration. With millions of viewers expected to watch Super Bowl LIII, many will gather with friends and family to watch the Patriots and Rams, and that means they’re be digging in to a host of traditional game day favorites like pizza, Buffalo wings, beer, wine, and other spirits. None of it would be on the Tom Brady diet, that’s for sure.
First of all, let's set the record straight. Good thing all that beer, wine, soda, and spirits are filtered with diatomaceous earth (DE) filter aid. Those beverages certainly wouldn’t be the same without DE.

What’s the most important thing to employees? More than likely you said compensation. Well, that’s not the most important thing anymore. In a recent Gallup survey, 95% of employees said that having an engaging company culture was more important than compensation. And, with employees younger than 30 years old, the number was even higher. The Gallup survey also stated that “disengaged” workforces cost companies more than $450 billion every year. Bottom line: Building an engaging culture is critical to the success of any company.

National Maple Syrup Day! Hooray!
It's the perfect day to begin the day with pancakes, french toast or biscuits topped off with delicious maple syrup as you celebrate National Maple Syrup Day. Wow, I think I need to go back and start my day all over again! Maple syrup is usually from the xylem sap of sugar maple, red maple or black maple trees that maple syrup although it not limited to those maple species.
